Come spend a day with the UC Santa Cruz Swim Team Coaches and Captains. Get priceless swimming advice from Kim Musch, coach of numerous Olympic medalists, and his staff and swimmers. You will enjoy an all expenses paid day with the slugs, spending time in and out of the pool working on all aspects of swimming.

Your day will include a provided brunch and lunch, lectures from the coaches, video analysis of world class athletes, an intensive technique session in the pool, under water and above water video of your swimming, as well as fun games in and out of the water. The day will be concluded with an afternoon at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with the UCSC Swim Team Captains. You will also get also get an official UC Santa Cruz Swim Team Shirt.

To enter a chance to win, order your raffle tickets from the link below. Each raffle ticket will cost $10, and please feel free to buy as many as you would like, or donate directly to the team. All proceeds will go to the UC Santa Cruz Swimming and Diving Team. Swim with the Slugs will take place on Saturday, May 26th and the winners will be notified on Monday, May 21st. There will be 5 winning raffle tickets and each winning swimmer can bring a friend along. All participants must be current middle school or high school students with some general swimming background.

9:00AM - 10:00AM      Brunch with UCSC Coaches and Swimmers Provided by Noah's Bagels
10:00AM - 10:45AM    Lecture and Video Analysis by UCSC Head Coach Kim Musch
10:45AM - 11:00AM    Hang out with the swimmers for a stretching session
11:00AM - 12:00AM    Freestyle/Backstroke Drills with Videotaping
12:00PM - 1:00PM      Lunch with UCSC Coaches and Swimmers Provided by Pizza My Heart
1:00PM - 1:30PM        Analyze Freestyle/Backstroke Video Footage
1:30PM - 2:30PM        Breaststroke/Butterfly Drills with Videotaping
2:30PM - 3:00PM        Relays and fun Activities with the Banana Slug Swimmers
3:00PM - 3:30PM        Analyze Breaststroke/Butterfly Footage
3:30PM - 4:00PM        Wrap up/ Final Questions
4:00PM - 7:00PM        Go to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with the UCSC Captains
