This past memorial day weekend, the UCSC Swimmers and Coaches ran the first annual Swim with the Slugs camp.  The lucky winners of the Swim with the Slugs raffle were:

Each of them brought a friend along as they hung out with the Banana Slugs all day.  The camp was an all day event that emphasized technique work.  Video analysis of Olympic Swimmers as well as underwater video analysis of the swimmers themselves were used.  The camp ended with a trip to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with the UCSC Coaches and Swimmers.  Overall it was a very fun day and a very successful fundraiser for the Banana Slug Swim Team.  The Slugs hope to add it to their list of fundraisers for years to come.  Thank you to all of the those who purchased raffle tickets.  Your support of the UC Santa Cruz Swim Team is greatly appreciated and we hope that you will take part in future UCSC Swim Team Fundraisers.  If you were unable to purchase tickets and would still like to support the UCSC swim team, please check out the "Support the Slugs" link on the homepage.  Pictures from this years camp have been posted here!
